PMB residents demand action on sewage spill
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
Angry residents in Northdale are demanding urgent action from uMsunduzi officials following a sewage spill which they say is now posing a health threat.

Lucky Naicker, who lives in the area, says the community's been complaining about raw sewage flowing along Bangalore Road.
He said they've been appealing to the municipality for help.
"The sewage is getting where the residents live on that road and also we got a lot of businesses and shops and it's become a serious health hazard.

He says numerous requests have been made to the municipality with the response that they will attend.
"But that never happens," said Naicker.
"They make promises but there is not accountability whatsoever and it's frustrating as residents and business people," said Naicker.
