Updated | By Lucky Khanyile
The family of two children who were killed in a hit and run in the Kwapata area in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday are struggling to cope with their death.
Eight-year-old Abongile and his younger brother, three-year-old Msizi were killed while walking to church with their father, Nhlanhla Mhlezana.
Mhlezana, who survived the incident and has since been released from hospital, says the children's mother is not coping.

The police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
Spokesperson Shooz Magudulela says the driver is yet to come forward.
"Police are appealing to any person who might have noticed the accident that took place and the type of vehicle that was used to come forward and inform the police," he said.
The children will be laid to rest on Saturday.
