PMB family hopeful as search for missing mother continues
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
The loved ones of a Pietermaritzburg mother of three, who went missing several months ago, have appealed to anyone with information to contact the police.
"We're actually quite devastated because there still isn't any closure," says Emaline Pillay, the sister of the late Arlene Pillay.
Pillay was last seen in July when she dropped off clothes for one of her three children at a relative's home in Northdale.
Emaline says her sister's partner of eight years, Ravi Chetty was a suspect in her disappearance.

Chetty, who was due in court later this month, took his own life in jail last week.
"We had been on a search on Sunday to all the areas that he's taken her and it's been unsuccessful. The first month some investigations on his cellphone showed where they had been and police have taken a sniffer dog but nothing was found," she says.
Police are continuing their search for Pillay.
