PMB baby sale case postponed
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The 20-year-old mother who was arrested after trying to sell her baby boy on the internet has appeared before the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court.

Zama Madlala had posted an advert on Gumtree where she pretended to be selling a baby car seat, but was in actual fact trying to sell her 19-month-old son for R5 000.
She was nabbed yesterday by undercover police officers.
The NPA's Natasha Ramkisson-Kara says the mother has been detained.
"The accused was charged with contravening provisions of the Trafficking in Persons Act. The matter was remanded to the 26th of October for further investigations. She's currently in custody," she said.
The child is said to be well and in the care of social workers.
