Planned water shutdown at Ntuzuma 2 pumpstation

eThekwini Municipality has announced a planned water shutdown for the areas that get water supply from the Ntuzuma 2 pumpstation.

The shutdown will be from 6am on Wednesday until 6 in the evening.
The City says this is to replace of a rising main manifold in Ntuzuma 2.
This also includes preparation work for the installation of new Ntuzuma 3 and Ntuzuma 7 pump sets.
Areas that get water from this pumpstation will have no water because its the main facility that pumps water to multiple reservoirs.
The affected areas include:
- Ntuzuma A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H Sections and Richmond Farm
- Bester, Ezimangweni, Inhlungwana, and Mzomusha
- Inanda New Town A, B, C, Inanda, and Sowetho
- KwaMashu M-Section
The water supply will only be restored from Thursday while water tankers will be dispatched to affected areas.
