Planned power outage in Durban South on Sunday
eThekwini residents living in the south can expect a
four-hour power outage on Sunday.
The planned outage will kick off at midday and will run until approximately 4pm.
The affected areas include Island View, Bayhead, Bluff, Wentworth, Brighton Beach, Jacobs, and Edwin Swales.
eThekwini says the electricity department needs to safely re-instate the continuous 132 kV busbar at the Rossburgh substation to improve the security of supply to the area.

Therefore they will need to interrupt the electricity supply.
