PICS - Rain relief for KZN conservation
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
The recent rains in the KZN province this week have brought more relief for wildlife and marine life at the Isimangaliso Wetland Park. At it's peak on Tuesday, St Lucia Estuary recorded 52mm of rain in a 24-hour period, Sodwana Bay - 40mm and the Eastern Shores recorded 24mm. KZN has been the worst affected with eight provinces being declared disaster areas earlier this year while conservation areas faced challenges of rain reaching the catchment areas.
