PICS: Durban hit by strong winds

Durban has been hit by strong winds, with brief heavy rains, in the late afternoon.
Heavy winds have torn through trees and buildings in and around the city.
The SA Weather Services said earlier gale force winds were expected between Port St Johns and Richards Bay tonight.
While heavy rain that might lead to localized flooding was expected along the coast from the south coast tonight and will spread to Richards Bay, on the north coast tomorrow.
Howick, Pietermaritzburg - west of Durban - and Uvongo and Margate, south of the province have also been affected.
