PICS: Drugs worth R543k found in abandoned Durban building

Police are trying to figure out who the half-a-million rands' worth of drugs found stashed in an abandoned Durban building belong to.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says a team from the Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit received a tip-off.
They made their way to Anton Lembede Street in the CBD on Wednesday.

"An operation was put in place and it led to the recovery of 267 ecstasy tablets, 38 plastic packets of cocaine powder, 83 mandrax tablets, 10 pieces of rock cocaine and other various drugs.
"The drugs were recovered inside the ceiling boards on the roofing of the building. The recovered drugs are valued at R543 000."
No arrests have been made.
