PicknPay responds after gran, boy allegedly humiliated in store

Local supermarket chain store, PicknPay says its investigating the incident where a customer and her grandson were allegedly mistreated after the boy opened a chocolate bar in one of its outlets.
With an image that has since gone viral on social media, the incident initially came to light on community Facebook page, Mitchells Plain Gangwatch.
It is reported the elderly woman and her grandson were made to sit on the floor in view of other customers at a centre in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town.

The store has since responded on social media, saying the incident is unacceptable and management is trying to contact the customers and employees involved.
