PIC: US cop pulls over driverless car
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
A police officer in Silicon Valley has pulled over a vehicle that was slowing down traffic - only to realise it was a Google driverless car.

The police department in Google's hometown says the Autonomous Vehicle had been going at 24 mph on a street with a 35 mph speed limit.
They say the car was legally travelling on the street as California law allows self-driving cars to operated on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or slower.
The officer is said to have had a chat with the occupant of the car about slowing down traffic.
Google has playfully posted a photo of the motorcycle cop pulling over the car on one of its social media platforms - saying "bet humans don’t get pulled over for that too often," he said.
