PHOTOS: Durban winds wreak havoc

A woman has been injured as a result of high winds while working along the Durban beachfront.

Paramedics say she was hit on the head by a pane of glass after the wind broke it off the roof of the beachfront toilets.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha the patient is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
''It hit her on the head and she has sustained very serious laceration. Paramedics treated her on scene and then transported her through to a Durban hospital to receive treatment,'' he said.
Meanwhile, on Durban's Clark Road just before Bulwer Road wind gusts have caused a tree to fall on a vehicle.
Rescue Care paramedics say the driver was lucky to escape unharmed.
Motorists have been advised to take care on the province's roads in high winds, which are expected to continue this evening.
