Firefighters are working to extinguish a blaze at the Umlazi Community Hall, south of Durban.

Chaos broke out in the Engoyameni area this morning, with hundreds of protesters taking to the Mangosuthu Highway near V Section.
Angry community members are apparently demanding an improved water supply.
This local resident, who spoke to Newswatch under conditions of anonymity, says although they have been sent tankers - the water is unusable.

Durban Metro's Parboo Sewpersadh says protesters dug a trench around the hall in an attempt to prevent authorities from accessing the area.
"They want infrastructure built there immediately, but they damage the infrastructure. They want water, but they are damaging the water infrastructure which has been laid," Sewpersadh said.
Earlier this week, the Tribal Court in the area was also set alight during community protests.
