Chatsworth police need help in finding a man wanted in connection with the rape of a 12-year-old girl.
SAPS KZN spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says the girl was attacked last month at the Marianhill train station.
Mbele says detectives are trying to track down 34-year-old Samson Mkhize.
"He is wanted for the case of rape that was committed in January this year where a 12-year-old girl was attacked and raped by a known suspect.
Mbele says the suspect then fled the scene on foot.
"A case was eventually opened. A warrant of arrest has been issued against the accused. Anyone with information to please contact police at Chatsworth FCS," Mbele said.
