Phoenix residents say feel unsafe after spate of murders
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
Durban police are still searching for those responsible for the murder of a 41-year-old man in Phoenix.
Police say the man was shot in his home at Paveside Circle on Saturday evening.
While the motive of the killing is yet not known, Ward Councillor Maggie Johnson says it wasn't the only incident in the area.
"The other guy used to sell stuff on the roadside. Apparently, he was assaulted and he ran into somebody's property and he collapsed and died."

Johnson says residents feel unsafe.
"To lose one's life tragically is unbearable. Crime has just escalated to such an extent we don't know anymore if we are safe in our own homes.
"You can't walk on the street and you can't go to shopping malls. People are just shot down. It is just sad."
