Phoenix crash: eThekwini mourns co-worker
Updated | By Portia Cele

The employee and two other workers had been working along Tatford Road on Friday when a car crashed into them.
One of the workers has since passed away in hospital.
Deputy head of Water Operations, Richard Mngoma says the 38-year-old had been with the department since 2006.
"As much as we've got strict health and safety procedures, this sends a message to us to say we are exposed to the elements. We have launched an IOD (injury on duty) procedure for those who were injured abd they'll also be debriefed in terms of psychological support," he said.
The two other workers are still receiving treatment in hospital.
