Penny Sparrow faces legal action
Jawitz Scottburgh says they'll be taking legal action against a former employee, Penny Sparrow who made racist comments on Facebook.
In the post, Sparrow comments on KZN beaches and refers to black people as monkeys, causing an uproar online overnight.
Many shared Sparrow's cellphone number taken from her profile on the Jawitz Property page and encouraged others to send her messages expressing their outrage.

Owner of Jawitz, Avanti Low says Sparrow started working for them in mid-May last year and resigned in November.
Low says she's tarnished the good name of the company in less than 24 hours.
"We, as a company, do not tolerate or share her views and comments. We find them appalling and disgusting. I have contacted the website administrator to ensure that all her links to the company are no longer active," she said.
Low says Sparrow's post has not only caused damaged to the Jawitz brand but it has also led to personal attacks hurled at her family.
"I personally have been threatened. My business has been threatened. She made the comments, I didn't. She does not work for me, she does not work for the brand," she said.
Sparrow has since apologised for the post. A resignation letter addressed to her former employer has surfaced, reportedly submitted by Sparrow. See it below.
