Pedestrian killed in horror North Coast crash

A pedestrian has died in KwaMaphumulo north of Durban after she was knocked over while carrying her infant child.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was hit by a car on the R74 and passed away on the scene.
KZN EMS's Robert McKenzie says her seven-week-old-boy survived the crash but was seriously injured and has been rushed hospital.
''A little boy had initially been rushed to a local clinic by a local shop-owner and was sent through to a hospital by KZN EMS paramedics.
''The exact cause of the crash is not known at this stage however the police are investigating further,'' he said.
