Peace Negotiation Task Team for Glebelands hostel
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Executive Committee has endorsed a Peace Negotiation Task Team at the troubled Glebelands hostel in Umlazi.

Many arrests were made at the housing facility last month in an effort to curb violence in the area.
This after several initiatives and interventions were undertaken by an Inter-Ministerial Task Team, working closely with police.
The Office of the Premier's Ndabezinhle Sibiya says the committee will be involved in the promotion of peace dialogues.
''They have committed themselves to promoting peace ahead of the local government elections as well as beyond the elections.
''Law enforcement agencies will be on full alert to ensure that there is no outbreak of political related violence,'' he said.
