PE brutal shooting leaves three dead, one critical
Three young people have been killed and a fourth is fighting for her life in hospital after being shot execution-style in Port Elizabeth.
Police officers from Walmer were patrolling last night when they came across three women and a man four lying in a field next to a gravel road.
They all had gunshot wounds to the head. Two of the women and the man had already died.
Police's Janse van Rensburg say robbery has been ruled out as a possible motive as the victims' cellphones were found on the scene.
"I want these barbaric criminals behind bars and all resources - including crime intelligence, forensic experts and seasoned detectives to ensure that no evidence and information that could ensure success is lost."
A search for the killers is under way.
