"My Lady, as a pastor I provided spiritual care, encouragement, and comfort during the time he was incarcerated," Nel replied.

"How did you experience him?," Roux continues.
"I experienced Mr. Pistorius as a man that was broken, who expressed his sorrow."
"How did you contribute? How did you help him?" Roux enquires.
"My Lady, I minister to Mr Pistorius, prayed with him, shared the Word with him and encouraged him," Nel said.
Pistorius is being re-sentenced after his conviction of culpable homicide was converted to murder on appeal. He shot and killed his girlfriend - Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
Pistorius claims he mistook Steenkamp for an intruder.
