Parts of Durban set to be without water
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Parts of Durban are being warned of possible water outages or restricted flow in the nighttime.
Umgeni-uThukela Water is said to be working to restore the water levels at the Durban Heights Water Treatment Works.
The plant supplies reservoirs in the north, south, central and inner-west regions of Durban.

According to officials, production at the plant's reservoirs 2 and 3 was impacted by the power outages last week.
eThekwini says it led to a drastic reduction in water pressure and flows to most water reservoirs.
The system has not fully recovered.
Teams will be shutting some reservoir inlets and outlets between 9pm and 4am.
eThekwini says work began last night and will continue until the reservoirs have recovered substantially to meet the full pressure in the system.
