Partial solar eclipse seen in SA

Pictures have been shared on social media of a solar eclipse that was visible in parts of Southern Africa at the weekend.
The partial eclipse is said to have been visible in some parts of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and Madagascar.
The hastag #SolarEclipse trended on Twitter on Sunday morning as users shared pictures of the event.
According to astronomy website, Space.com a lunar eclipse will be visible again in parts of the continent on September 27. It will the first of its kind since 1982.
