Over a dozen hurt in Durban crashes

More than a dozen people are receiving treatment following two separate crashes on highways south of Durban last night.
In the first accident, 11 people were hurt including seven children when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the M4 South near Merebank.
Emergency services say the vehicle hit a tyre near the Duranta Road turn-off at 6pm.
Six people were hurt in the second accident on Higginson Highway near Chatsworth above the N2 freeway.
Rescue Care says two vehicles collided at 7pm.
