Over 52 000 healthcare workers vaccinated in SA thus far

than 52 000 frontline healthcare workers have been
vaccinated against Covid-19 across South Africa in the first eight days of
the campaign.
Statistics released by Health Minister Zweli Mkhize show that by 6pm on Thursday, a total of 52 647 healthcare workers have been inoculated under the Sisonke Protocol.
A further 1 676 cases were recorded in just 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country to 1 509 124.
