Over 30 areas north of Durban without water

Residents and businesses in some parts in the north of Durban can expect a shortage of water.

eThekwini says supply is being restricted from the Hazelmere Treatment Works as the result of low reservoir levels.
The city has shut outlets of the affected reservoir to build up storage capacity.
It says the outlets will be opened during peak periods, but irregular supply will be experienced.
Over thirty areas will be affected including King Shaka Airport and Dube Trade Port.
