Oscar Pistorius scam case postponed
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
The case of a 33-year-old man accused of posing as an NPA official and trying to swindle R250 000 out of Oscar Pistorius has been postponed.
The matter involving Tshifhiwa Radzhadzi was heard in the Pretoria Commercial Crimes Court today.
He was arrested on Friday after allegedly phoning Pistorius, telling him he could get the murder case against him scrapped.
Radzhadzi allegedly told Pistorius that he was part of a team of which Advocate Gerrie was also a member and could make Pistorius' murder case disappear for a quarter of R1-million.
Pistorius informed authorities and the Hawks set up a trap for Radzhadzi on Friday.
R40 000 was handed over whereafter he was immediately arrested.
The 33-year-old has been accused of corruption and could also face a charge of extortion. The matter has been postponed until Thursday.
