The Constitutional Court has dismissed convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius' application for leave to appeal his conviction, the National Prosecuting Authority confirmed today.

"We can confirm we have received an order from the registrar of the ConCourt to the effect that his application for leave to appeal has been denied," NPA spokesperson Luvuyo Mfaku told News24.
Pistorius is currently out on bail of R10 000 and is expected to head back to the High Court in Pretoria on April 18 for sentencing proceedings.
