KZN opposition parties say they are disappointed with what they believe was a lack of originality and detail in the Premier's state of the province address.

Premier Sihle Zikalala delivered his first SOPA in Pietermaritzburg yesterday. Zikalala touched on eliminating corruption within government, creating job opportunities and tackling social ills.
The DA's Zwakele Mncwango says the premier failed to give new plans on how to tackle challenges that have been faced by the province.
"It was more of a copy and paste of the report delivered by the former Premier because the speech was more about what has happened already as opposed to new plans by the KZN government", he said.
Velenkosini Hlabisa of IFP says the premier failed to table practical plans.
"We were expecting the Premier to outline practical action that would revive the expectations of a better future for the people of KZN", he said.
