One killed, eight injured in overnight accidents

One person has died while two others were moderately hurt after their car overturned on KwaMashu Highway last night.
Details surrounding the single vehicle accident are still sketchy. According to Crisis Medical emergency services the vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof.
The driver was declared dead on scene.Those hurt were treated on scene and taken to hospital. Police will investigate.
In a separate accident six people have been injured after a car and a taxi collided on Inanda Road and Acutts Drive in Hillcrest yesterday. It is not clear what led to the two vehicles colliding.
According to ER24 emergency services some of those hurt were lying on the pavement and the taxi on its side. They were treated on scene before being taken to R.K Khan hospital. The driver of the car was unhurt.
Police are investigating both accidents.
