One person has died while
44 pupils cramped inside a minibus taxi were left injured in a secondary
collision along Old Inanda Road near Verulam on Wednesday.

It's understood the school transport vehicle crashed into a stationary bakkie that had stopped on the emergency lane to contact authorities over a pedestrian that was killed in a hit-and-run incident.
The overloaded minibus veered onto oncoming traffic and struck a pedestrian before it came to a stop.
Reaction Unit SA's Prem Balram says among those treated was a seven-year-old girl with critical injuries.
