Officers accused of Nathaniel Julies’ murder to remain behind bars
The case against three police officers accused of killing Eldorado Park teen Nathaniel Julies has been postponed.
The three officers linked to the murder of the 16-year-old all made their second court appearance on Thursday.
Julies, who was living with Down Syndrome, was killed just meters away from his home last month.
Three police officers have been charged with his murder, defeating the ends of justice, possession of illegal ammunition and discharging firearm in public.

Simon Ndyalvana, Caylene Whiteboy and Vorster Netshiongolo briefly appeared at the Protea Glen Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
During their last appearance, Whiteboy abandoned legal aid and was in the process of getting a private lawyer.
The 16-year-old’s father Clint Smith said he is happy that the trio will remain in custody for a bit longer as the family feels they should not get bail.
The case was postponed to 22 September for a formal bail application.
