Nzimande dismisses NSFAS corruption claims
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Higher Education and Training Minister Blade Nzimande has again denied allegations of corruption against him and Nsfas board chair Ernest Khosa.
Nzimande is responding to claims by civic organisation OUTA that he received kickbacks from a service provider at the student fund to bankroll political activities in the SACP, among others.
The minister held a briefing in Tshwane on Monday, which was meant to set the record straight amid growing calls for his and Khosa's immediate resignation.

"I have never used any money from any of my department’s entities for the purpose of funding the South African Communist Party as maliciously suggested in the OUTA report, nor have I received any personal kickbacks from any of the service providers to NSFAS or any other entities falling under my departments."
