The National Student Financial Aid Scheme’s application period for 2024 has been extended by another two weeks
The decision was made after the financial aid scheme's board met with student leaders on NSFAS's state of readiness for the start of the academic year.
"The meeting agreed that the NSFAS loan scheme will be opened on the 2nd of February 2024 and will also close on the 15th of February 2024. NSFAS bursary loan scheme is the first phase of the comprehensive student funding model,” said NFSAS spokesperson Ismael Mnisi on Thursday.
Students who have already applied for funding need not submit new applications.
