North Coast's Tinley Manor beach set for revamp
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
The KwaDukuza Municipality on the north coast says its revamp of the Tinley Manor beach is set to begin next month.
The municipality says the work should be completed ahead of the busy festive season in December.
The revamp will focus on improving access roads, upgrading tidal pools and emergency access, among other things.
Municipal spokesperson, Sifiso Zulu says the beach had previously not been prioritised for renovations.
Zulu is confident the improvements will see more people flocking to the beach.
"When people go there this December - they will know that it's safe to swim at the beach. We do have everything required to take care of their safety. People can buy properties in this area with confidence that they - and their families - have access to an area with a serviced beach," Zulu said.
