Updated | By Natarah Nadesan
There has been a devastating house fire on KwaZulu-Natal’s Dolphin Coast. A man and a woman lost their lives when the flames tore through the single-storey structure in Darnall's Zamani township.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says the man appears to have been in his early forties & the woman, in her twenties.
He says according to the neighbours, there was a huge blast at the home this morning.

“Neighbours heard an explosion and when they came out, the house was fully engulfed in flames,” Herbst says, “On arrival of the fire department and ourselves, two bodies were discovered in the lounge. Unfortunately they were both burnt beyond recognition”.
