North Coast boy to be laid to rest

An 11-year-old autistic boy whose body was found in a swimming pool in KwaDukuza on the north coast this week will be laid to rest tomorrow (Sunday).
Smangaliso Madula was found floating in a local pool by policemen on Wednesday afternoon.
He went missing from the Inqolobane Children's Home on Tuesday. An extensive search was conducted by local authorities, emergency services and residents - ending with the tragic discovery.

The home's Aresh Singh says the amount of support they've received has been overwhelming.
"The post postmortem has been done, we are just waiting for results," he says, "The funeral is supposed to be at Mandeni, near his grandmother's house but I think because so many people want to come, they may move it to Stanger (KwaDukuza)".
Singh says high-profile dignitaries are expected.
