Norma set to return to State Capture Commission after security threat adjournment
Updated | By Jacaranda FM
The State Capture Inquiry had to be suddenly adjourned on Thursday evening due to security threats.

The announcement was made by the Commission's Chairperson, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.
This happened while Norma Mngoma, the estranged wife of Gupta linked former cabinet Minister Malusi Gigaba, testified in front of the Commission at their Parktown offices.
"We are going to be able to adjourn, I am sorry about that. It is a situation beyond our control," said Zondo.
"We just have to arrange, if we are left with an hour of her [Norma Mngoma] I wonder if we couldn't do that hour tomorrow if she is available in the morning before we start with Mr Gigaba."

In a statement, the Commission has since confirmed that the proceedings will continue at 9 am on Friday morning - where Mngoma is expected to conclude her testimony.
Following the sudden adjournment at the commission, Mngoma posted a video on her Instagram showing a fleet of police vehicles escorting her out of the premises.
She wrote: "The situation right now, when I said the truth will come out one day this is part of it... for now I want to thank the SAPS for protecting me, I can't say much about what happened but I want to assure everyone I'm in safe hands."
The post was later deleted on Instagram. Former Minister Gigaba is expected to also testify today.
