No taxpayer money used for ANC January 8 celebration - Mabe
Updated | By Noxolo Miya and Jacaranda FM
The ANC has denied that it's instructed party members deployed in government to use taxpayers' money to fund its January 8 anniversary celebrations.

A directive from an unknown source has emerged, requesting government departments to fund certain aspects of the party's 111th anniversary.
The ANC's Pule Mabe says the party has zero tolerance for officials using its name to raise funds using government resources.
Mabe says action will be taken against those officials.
"All matters related to fundraising and funding are handled by the treasury-general comrade Gwen Ramokgopa, while the deputy secretary-general comrade Nomvula Mokonyane is the convener of the preparation of the January 8 celebration."
He confirmed that the party's event will be hosted in Bloemfontein.
