No side effects for vaccinated KZN healthworkers to date

Over 1200 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in KwaZulu-Natal.
This is according to KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala who gave an update on the province's response to COVID-19 yesterday.
"None of our healthcare workers have suffered any complications since taking the vaccine from Thursday onwards. We have vaccinated over 1239 healthcare workers."

The Health Department began the rollout of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine phase one for healthcare workers last week.
He's urged healthcare workers to take advantage of the vaccination programme in large numbers.
"A total of 15 829 healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19 in the public sector since at the beginning of the pandemic the majority were nurses of about 55% and of the total infected 335 have sadly succumbed to the virus."
