Chief Thandisizwe Diko passes away after short illness
The KwaBhaca Kingdom has confirmed that Chief Madzikane Thandisizwe Diko has passed away.
Diko died yesterday in an East London hospital following a short illness.
He’s the husband of Presidency spokesperson - Khusela Diko.
Lumko Mtimde is the spokesperson for the family. "The royal family and isizwe samaBhaca (amaBhaca clan) are still coming to terms with this shocking and painful loss of our beloved father, son and husband."

"We are indeed appreciative and humbled by the outpouring support? since the news of his majesty became known. We thank everyone for keeping the family in their thoughts and prayers in the time of grief," he adds.
The couple has been implicated in a R125 million Gauteng Health PPE tender scandal Khusela Diko has been on special leave since investigations began.
