No shortcuts to end load shedding: Ramokgopa
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Minister of Electricity Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says the government won't be taking any shortcuts in the efforts to end load shedding.

Ramokgopa says there's been a spike in demand since temperatures began warming up.
Stage 6 of the power cuts was reintroduced on Tuesday morning, with Eskom saying it's had to take some generation units offline for planned maintenance.

Ramokgopa briefed the media on the power situation on Tuesday morning.
"Of course, there is going to be some degree of dynamism in how we deal with this. So if the situation were to deteriorate further, we will find a way of ensuring that on planned maintenance, we are able to slow it down.
"But you will see when we share that we have confidence that in a few days, those units are going to come back."
