No parole for Chris Hani's killer, Janusz Walus

Chris Hani's killer, Janusz Walus has been denied parole.
Justice Minister, Michael Masutha made the announcement in Pretoria a short while ago.
The Polish immigrant shot and killed Hani outside his home in Boksburg in April 1993.
Walus and Conservative Party MP, Clive Derby-Lewis - who supplied the firearm used in the shooting - had been sentenced to death.

He died at the age of 80 after battling lung cancer last year after being released on medical parole in 2015.
Derby-Lewis had served 22 years in prison.
"The report demonstrates a person who sees nothing wrong in eliminating a communist who happens to be a father and a husband. This can in no way qualify as full remorse as he continues to justify his killing of 'a communist'," he says.
