No new COVID-19 deaths in almost half of SA

Four provinces have
recorded zero new COVID-19 related deaths in the latest report released by
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize on Monday evening.

However, the minister has confirmed that KwaZulu-Natal reported 70 new coronavirus related fatalities.
"Eastern Cape 1, Free State 2, Gauteng 5, Kwa-Zulu Natal 70, Limpopo 0, Mpumalanga 0, North West 0, Northern Cape 0 and Western Cape 7 which brings the total to 52 196 deaths," reads the report by Mkhize.
As of Monday evening, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases for South Africa is 1 538 451.

There was a total of 85 more Covid-19 related deaths.
"Eastern Cape 1, Free State 2, Gauteng 5, Kwa-Zulu Natal 70, Limpopo 0, Mpumalanga 0, North West 0, Northern Cape 0 and Western Cape 7 which brings the total to 52 196 deaths," reads the report by Mkhize.
The recovery rate stands at 95%.
