Updated | By Nondumiso Dube
The African National Congress in KwaZulu-Natal is confident its elective conference will be held later this week.

It was meant to have taken place this past weekend, but had to be postponed due to several disputes.
Provincial spokesperson Nhlakanipho Ntombela says they've since been heard by the dispute resolution committee.

He's adamant there won't be any more delays.
"We have handled the issues with all the regions. There are no disputes outstanding, so we don't foresee anything which can cause any disruption at the conference.
"We are doing registration until Friday, so by Friday, we are starting with the conference."
