The South African Weather Service says KZN residents can rest easy today knowing that there is no severe weather predicted.

Forecastor, Thandiwe Gumede, says a 30 to 60% chance for rain is expected in parts of the province. This after severe hail and thunderstorms plagued Durban and other parts of the province yesterday.
Gumede says there is no sign of elements such as hail today but their will be isolated showers and thundershowers.
"It will be a cloudy and cool day today, becoming cold in the southwestern part of KZN. No severe thunderstorms are expected, just isolated showers and thundershowers where there is a 30% chance, except for the northern parts of KZN and along the coast," she said.
"We are expecting southerly to southwesterly gail force winds over the South Coast as well very rough seas," Gumede said.
