The guesthouse was the subject of outrage on social media last week when it emerged that it does not accommodate blacks or government officials.
The owner of the establishment confirmed the policy with the The Star newspaper saying segregation is God’s will.
The commission’s Gail Smith says they are yet to receive a formal complaint.
''The assumption is that no complaint has been laid. Once we have established that no complaint has been laid then we would have to look into it and see if this is the matter for our own investigation,'' she said.
