No-confidence motion in Ramaphosa, cabinet 'very important vote' – Steenhuisen

DA leader John Steenhuisen says whatever the results of Wednesday's vote of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa and his cabinet, he is confident the motions will bring change.

The two motions tabled by the African Transformation Movement and the DA respectively will be debated by Parliament this afternoon.

Steenhuisen says they are looking forward to it.
"It is going to be a very important vote for South Africa because nearly every one of the key areas where South Africans are suffering where it's fuel price increases, hunger, unemployment, poor service can be traced back to a minister."

"[They] are either incompetent, unwilling, or unable to do their job. We are very happy that the Speaker agreed to our request to have an in-person roll-call vote where each member of Parliament's name will be called and they will be asked to vote 'Yes, No or Abstain'".
