No arrests yet in Durban Day stabbing

Durban police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at People's Park outside Moses Mabhida Stadium last night.

The incident occurred at approximately 7.30pm at the tail-end of East Coast Radio's Durban Day.
The police's Jay Naicker says the 19-year-old man was found lying in a pool of blood. He had been stabbed.
He says no arrests have been made as yet.
"Detectives of Durban Central are investigating a case of murder. At this stage the perpetrators are unknown," he said.
East Coast Radio's General Manager Boni Mchunu meanwhile has sent the station's deepest condolences to the family of the young man.
"As East Coast Radio we want to offer our condolences to the family. We all know that there is definitely no easy way to accept a loss of a human life. We are both heartbroken as the East Coast Radio team - and we are shocked [by what has happened]," she said.
