Newlands gun attack claims life of bus driver
A bus driver has been killed in an ambush in Newlands West.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the 23-year-old came under attack near the corner of Castlehill Drive and Drumcastle Road last night.
"He sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the body and was declared deceased on scene. A case of murder was then opened for investigation."
Gwala says anyone with information that can help them find the assailants can contact their nearest police station.
